Why AIA?

Ambassador International Academy (AIA) will offer the best of international learning by integrating two world-recognised curriculums – providing a successful pathway to leading universities and beyond.

What do our Students Study?

Our students benefit from the best of international learning with the inquiry based International Baccalaureate integrated with the English National Curriculum, providing AIA students with the learning outcomes required to lead them onto success in secondary school and to become active and confident lifelong learners. Students follow the PYP/MYP curriculum integrated with the English National Curriculum until Grade 8. In Grade 9 and 10, students follow the Cambridge IGCSE programme. In Grade 11 and 12, students have the option of the IB Diploma or A Levels depending on their preference.

What do our Students Gain?

Our curriculum ensures that students are equipped to be successful in their future studies and life beyond education. It is designed to ensure social, emotional and physical development, transforming children into confident, inquisitive and self-motivated learners. We use the National Curriculum standards as benchmarks to ensure that our curriculum model has the benefits of the PYP/MYP framework supported with the rigour and content of the English National Curriculum.

The Ambassador Difference

We have a truly diverse and international environment where students from across the world come to learn. Built on a robust and sustainable model of talented students, experienced teachers and pro-active parents, AIA provides a supportive and stimulating learning environment

Facilities - Putting Students First

The school is designed to offer the best possible facilities encompassing academics, sport and play. The attention to detail is evident throughout and ensures that students have the very best of opportunities enabling them to excel in all aspects of school life. The campus has been totally designed with the needs of our students in mind. Educational input into the design stage has ensured that our campus will support and enhance our students’ learning and experience during their time at school.

Meeting the Needs of Learners

The section for Kindergarten is self-contained and allows a secure and safe environment for the younger children. In the main school, the environment is designed to meet the needs of learners at every stage of their journey. As well as light, airy, well equipped classrooms, the school has laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, The Arts and Maths). There is a mobile IT lab and a separate IT lab for the Primary students in addition to a Gaming Design and Coding lab.

Libraries for All Levels

There are four libraries (KG, Primary, Middle School and Senior). The school Librarian is an IB trained teacher and so able to offer support the students, particularly as they progress through the upper grades.

The arts are well catered for with a Fine Arts studio, soundproofed music and recording rooms, dance room and exhibition display area.

Sport for All

Sport is central to the life of the school. Outdoor facilities include tennis courts, football pitch, cricket nets and pitch and track markings for athletics. There is a 25m outdoor shaded pool plus a training pool for the Kindergarten. The soundproofed multipurpose hall can be used for indoor sport as well as having a stage and flexible seating for 650.
